Budget Nokia phones that support EDGE will stand Infineon chips

German company Infineon Technologies AG today announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the largest manufacturer of mobile phones - the Nokia. According to the agreement, the German company will supply the platform XMM 2130 EDGE, for output to the market a new generation of excess low-cost mobile phones with support for Internet access.

This platform XMM 2130 EDGE, manufactured under the rules of 65 nm production methods, allows to create mobile phones equipped with EDGE modem, audio player, stereo RDS FM radio, stereo headset, USB interface, as well as the interface for memory cards.
