Tuesday, September 15, 2009

On the existence of a game console built on the Android OS-based and processor similar to that used in the iPhone 3GS learned relatively recently. In early September, appeared the first information about its technical characteristics and first images. Now in on YouTube video emerged showing the work of this device.

ODROID has a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and is capable of playing video to 720p. The model has the HDMI-output module and WiFi b / g, but not in contact via cellular network. According to the creators ODROID focuses exclusively on the work as a game console, portable media players and MID (via WiFi networks). Also the model has a microSD and SD card slots for memory cards, TV and audio outputs, as well as the battery capacity of 1 300 mAh.

The video demonstrates the work of this device: first, to play HD-video, and then the game. Unfortunately neither the cost nor the release date of this sample is unknown.

My son has PlayStation 2 and wants to upgrade to PS3 for X-mas. Which of theses versions is best to consider, the 40BG, 60GB or 80GB? Is one version more compatable than the other with PS2 games?

A little off topic, Guys... I have a question. Yesterday I saw this site:
Rivalspot.com - Xbox tournaments for money
They say you can play online sports game tournaments on any console for cash... had anyone tried that before? Looks like a cool idea...
Are there any other sites where you can play sports games for real moneys? I Googled and found only Bringit.com and Worldgaming.com but it looks these guys don't specialize in sport gamez. Any suggestions?
