Point Grey and Fresco Logic have announced the world's first USB 3.0 Digital HD camcorder

The Canadian company Point Grey, a manufacturer of industrial video cameras, and an American developer of microelectronic components, including communications solutions USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed USB), Fresco Logic, announced at held in San Francisco in 2009 Intel Developer Forum (IDF) First, to support the standard SuperSpeed USB, camcorder.

At this event, the company demonstrated the ability to transfer an uncompressed HD (1080p60) video stream from a camcorder to Point Grey, equipped with high-performance HD 3 MP sensor from the company Sony (CMOS model IMX036) and uses the USB 3.0 host controller Fresco Logic, mounted on a platform ASUS P7P55D.
