Friday, October 9, 2009

We have already written about the standard WebGL to display three-dimensional graphics in the browser, it will be implemented in Firefox and Safari. And we now know that the support WebGL will appear in the browser and Google Chrome. According to the developers, preliminary support WebGL already implemented in Chrome, however, it must be remembered that the standard still under development and not yet a finished product. Work with WebGL can be in the new preview versions of Chrome for developers - Chrome 4.0.221.6 to 4.0.221.8 for Windows and Mac OS X and Linux.

Draft WebGL run companies Mozilla and Khronos Group, the organization of more than 100 companies, which oversees the specification of OpenGL. WebGL allows you to display in the browser page with the three-dimensional graphics, and create higher-level 3D-browser interfaces O3D.
