Next PS3 Firmware update may contain Cross-Game Chat

Thursday, October 15, 2009

It is known that in the next firmware update for the game console Sony PlayStation 3, you may receive the voice chat function Cross-Game Chat. Information about this appeared on the official forum of the PlayStation 3, however, now that information is already removed.

Function Cross-Game Chat allows gamers from different games to communicate with each other. This option has long been implemented in the Xbox 360, but the owners of the Sony PS3 game console is still forced to do without this useful function.

While the Sony, as usual, did not comment on rumors about its future updates, there is the likelihood that the voice chat function Cross-Game Chat appears on the PlayStation 3 before the end of the year. For a similar text chat has been implemented yet in the firmware upgrade for the number 2.70.

However, the emergence of opportunities to communicate in the Sony PS3 by voice can lead to some problems. For example, players from one team will be able to prompt each other the location of the enemy and thus gain an advantage in the game.

A little off topic, Guys... I have a question. Last week I trapped on this site:
Rivalspot.com - Wii Live Tournaments
They say you can play online Madden game tournaments on any console for cash... had anyone tried that before? Looks like a cool idea...
Are there any other sites where you can play sports games for real moneys? I Googled and found only Bringit.com and Worldgaming.com but it looks these guys don't specialize in sport gamez. Any suggestions?
