Gigabyte company recently announced a new international tournament for overclockers with the speaker called Beat Me If You Dare (ahead of me, if you can). The essence of this competition was to invite artists from around the world overclocking compete in performance with Gigabyte video card based on the model GeForce GTX260, established in the test application 3DMark Vantage seemingly unattainable record - 15297 points.

Contest rules allow use of any model of video card GeForce GTX260 from all major manufacturers, as well as to apply to disperse any conceivable configuration of the test system. The well-known team of Chinese overclockers Team China took the graphics card Zotac GTX260 Extreme 15-phase power system and 896 MB of memory, specifically designed for extreme loads, and set it into the system with the following specifications:

* Processor - Intel Core i7-920
* Cooler - K | ngp | n Dragon F1 Extreme Edition + Tek 5.0 Slim
* Motherboard - ASUS Rampage II Gene
* Memory - three modules OCZ PC10666 1 GB
* Video Card - Zotac GTX260 Extreme with 896 MB of memory
* Drive - SSD OCZ 60 GB
* Power Supply - Zalman ZM1000-HP

In the test system with Chinese characteristics overclockers managed to overclock a graphics card Zotac GTX260 Extreme to the frequencies in 1100/2400/2600 MHz for the GPU, shader, and memory, respectively. In this case the participants had some improvement scheme graphics accelerator, allowing the GPU voltage was increased to 1.5 volts. And tested in 3DMark Vantage, this card managed to reach the target of P17845, far ahead of the decision by Gigabyte.

This command is Team China argues that the potential of overclocking the video card Zotac GTX260 Extreme not been exhausted, and we should expect even more remarkable achievements in the near future.
