Apple may release its own high-end games for iPhone

Since the launch of its online store App Store, Apple introduced only four applications for the iPhone and iPod touch, developed in-house. However, given the fact that the number of approved applications in the App Store recently reached the milestone of one hundred thousand, and many developers continue to issue on the mountain all the new programs, most "fruit" of the company could never work out.



However, Apple would not be itself if it has to rest on its laurels. According to AppleInsider, the company published a job at a place developer of interactive gaming software for the iPhone and iPod touch. It is known that video games are among the most profitable in the App Store, but the popularity of mobile devices, Apple starts to seriously threaten even the situation in the market Nintendo Wii and other specialized video game consoles.

The developer of gaming applications, which wants to hire Apple, will have to work full time for at least three or four years. During this time, the company plans to release at least one high-end video game (the so-called "AAA titles"). This news means nothing more nor less than the first step towards the creation of Apple's own gaming unit, which can be further expanded.
