NVIDIA GeForce 205 - entry-level graphics card with support for DirectX 10.1

NVIDIA Corporation has announced a new graphics card entry-level GeForce 205. Recall we previously reported appearance at the company of another similar product - NVIDIA GeForce 310. Obviously, a new accelerator, like the previous model, designed primarily for OEM manufacturers and will be used in low-cost computers.



Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 205 made in low-profile form factor and uses to connect the bus PCI-Express x16. It has a total of eight processor cores and 512 MB of DDR2 memory with 64-bit interface, and cooling is responsible for its single-slot cooler with a small fan. Clock speeds for the GPU, shader, and memory are 589/1402/500 MHz, respectively.

Despite its status as an entry-level solutions, NVIDIA GeForce graphics adapter 205 has a developed system interfaces, including D-Sub (optional), DisplayPort, DVI and HDMI 1.3a (latest available via a special adapter). In addition, there is support for many modern technologies, for example, Microsoft DirectX 10.1 (Shader Model 4.1), OpenGL 3.1, OpenCL, NVIDIA CUDA, and PureVideo HD. Are also reflected compatibility with operating system Windows 7.
