Child browser "Gogulya" - in the form of an extension for Mozilla Firefox

Company "New Generation", known as the developer of the first Russian-language web browser for children and adolescents Gogulya, today announced a new version of the program - a browser extension for Mozilla Firefox. To date, an extension for Firefox is available for users of Windows, but before the end of the year the company will release the expansion and for systems with Mas OS X.

The company notes that Gogulya proved popular with users: since its release 3.5 months ago has been made more than 70 000 downloads distribution. As the representative of the company-developer, because of the huge number of positive assessments of the project, as well as constructive criticism, she was able to quickly bring the program "to mind."

The first Russian-language web browser Gogulya created by specialists of "new generation" especially for children from 4 to 11 years, was launched on August 12, 2009. Service is an "abridged version" of the Internet, where children can roam freely, without giving parents cause for concern about the content of visited pages. With Parental Controls, you get detailed reports on visitation sites and set restrictions on access to the network on time and duration of sessions.

Within the browser is available about 7000 Russian-language sites, more than half a million pictures and videos on various topics: from culture and science to comic books and online games. In selection of resources, photos and video, admitted in Gogulya, specially created team of parents, child psychologists and professional educators.
