Do you think laser 3D HD TV Mitsubishi LaserVue, which appeared about a year ago and became the first serial device of this kind, is too expensive? So you do not know anything about the new development of a small California company HDI, has announced plans to begin production of its 100-inch HDTV, equipped with a laser projector and stereo support.

The new 100-inch laser 3D HDTV supports Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), while its thickness is only about 254 mm. This device weighs about 75 percent less than the standard 100-inch LCD or plasma TV, and its power consumption by 80 per cent lower than similar-sized plasma. In addition, according to the HDI, it does not contain a TV set of chemical compounds that are harmful to the environment.

Cost of 100-laser-inch 3D HDTV from HDI is expected to level from 10 to 15 thousand dollars. Of course, this lot, but if you compare that figure to 75 thousand dollars that Panasonic has now asked for its 103-inch 3D HDTV, it is clear that new development will be the HDI for some real gift. By the way, the mass production of this promising device to begin shortly before Christmas 2010.
