Company Leadtek Research introduced the line of graphics cards WinFast GT 240. New items are based on the graphic processor NVIDIA GeForce GT 240. They fully supported operating system Microsoft Windows 7, and a software application interface DirectCompute, which uses the parallel processing capabilities of modern graphics processors, graphics processing shifts from the CPU to the graphics engine and accelerates the work of multimedia applications.

Line cards WinFast GT 240 consists of several models, the core of which is clocked at 550 MHz - with 512 MB of memory GDDR3, with 1 GB of DDR3 memory cards or with ultra-fast GDDR5 memory with a frequency of 3600 MHz. First in sales will go card with 512 MB of memory GDDR5, in early January, it is followed by a model with 1024 MB of memory GDDR5.

In WinFast GT 240 established an efficient and quiet cooling system, and solid aluminum capacitors. They make the map more robust and stable, increase resistance to high temperatures and provide a stable work WinFast GT 240, even when overclocking without the risk of leakage or overheating. WinFast GT 240 supports NVIDIA CUDA technology and NVIDIA PhysX. It is an application acceleration and encode video for mobile devices is seven times faster than using the CPU, and use the new features of physics in games, creating a more dynamic and realistic virtual worlds.

Built-in HDMI connector and send 7.1 LPCM audio via the PCI-Express allows you to send high-quality multimedia content over a single cable without connector SPDIF. WinFast GT 240 fully supports Microsoft DirectX 10.1, OpenGL 3.1 and Shader Model 4.1.
