Onkyo's DX dual-screen laptop is a far better deal than Kohjinsha's DZ

Company Onkyo introduced a new netbook, with two displays Onkyo DX1007A5. At first glance, the computer looks identical to its Japanese rivals Kohjinsha DZ, which had previously been presented at the exhibition CEATEC. However, Onkyo its netbook equipped with two 10.1-inch LCD-display with a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels (instead of 1024 x 600 pixels Kohjinsha DZ).



Hardware filling in principle, similar to competing models: same processor AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz, Graphics ATI Radeon HD 3200, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and three port USB. Plus Onkyo DX1007A5 has 2 GB of RAM standard, expandable to 4 GB (instead of 1 GB) hard disk drive 320 GB (and not 160 GB) with a spindle rotation speed 5400 rpm, Gigabit Ethernet and 32 -- bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium. Also netbook is equipped with a multiformat card reader, web-camera and fingerprint reader. Battery time according to the manufacturer is up to 3.7 hours on one charge.

It is expected that the netbook will be available on the Japanese market in late December. Cost netbook Onkyo DX1007A5 slightly larger than the Kohjinsha DZ ($ 909) and is $ 1148. But now it can be purchased through GeekStuff4u for about $ 966.
