A pair of low-profile graphics card from Sparkle based GeForce GT 220 and GT 240 for HTPC

Company Sparkle Computer announced a pair of low-profile graphics cards based on GeForce GT 220 and GeForce GT 240, targeted at fans of compact computers and HTPC systems. The first adapter is built on the video chip GT216, while the second is based on the GPU GT215.



Both new video card from Sparkle have a low-profile PCB height of 6 cm, which is enough even for a small computer case, and 1 GB of GDDR3 memory with 128-bit memory interface. In addition, there is support technology DirectX 10.1, and active cooling system accelerators generate noise at the level of 27.3 decibels acoustic.

The system interfaces both adapters includes video outputs D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. In this model based on GeForce GT 220 has 48 stream processors and operating frequencies of 625/1360/1580 MHz for the GPU, shader, and memory, respectively. At the same time graphics card based on GeForce GT 240 is equipped with 96 stream processors, and its clock speeds are equal to 550/1340/1580 MHz for the GPU, shader, and memory, respectively. The cost of new low-profile boosters are not reported.
