ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000 - mobile graphics with support for DirectX 11

AMD today introduced at CES 2010 a new line of mobile graphics adapter ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000. It includes models of HD 5870, HD 5850, HD 5830, HD 5770, HD 5750, HD 5730, HD 5650 and HD 5470, HD 5450, HD 5450. They all support DirectX 11 technology, OpenCL and ATI Stream and include a Universal Video Decoder Unified Video Decoder 2. Adapters ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5800, HD 5700/5600 and HD 5400 can use memory type GDDR3 or GDDR5 and support the technology ATI Eyefinity, which allows you to display an image on 6 monitors simultaneously (up to 4 monitors for ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5400).



ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870, HD 5850 and HD 5830 are equipped with 800 stream processors and support 128-bit memory interface, they can reach a TDP 50 watts. At ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5770, HD 5750, HD 5730 and HD 5650, in turn, only 400 stream processors, the same 128-bit memory interface, and a TDP decreased to 30 Tues Junior model ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470, HD 5450 and HD 5450 have just 80 stream processors, 64-bit memory interface, but the TDP and does not exceed 15 watts. Notebooks with the new graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000 should appear on the market later this month.
