Internet Explorer is dangerous? European governments are recommended to switch to other browsers

German Federal Office of Information Technology Security (BSI) recommended that Internet Explorer users to switch to another browser. The whole point of critical vulnerability that was discovered in Internet Explorer. BSI believes that the use of this browser is dangerous, yet the vulnerability is fixed. It has already been used by Chinese hackers to cyber-attacks on Google. Moreover, Internet Explorer is not safe even in "secure" mode, says BSI.



In this statement the German experts have reacted and the French government. Organization CERTA also advised users of Internet Explorer, even temporarily, "peresest" for another browser. Moreover, its experts emphasize that dangerous vulnerability was found in all versions of Internet Explorer, and at the moment is better to use Firefox, Opera, Safari or any other browser. But the British government and its public service, apparently heeded the warning was not. It is reported that they still continue to use Internet Explorer. Although important factor here is the fact that to make rapid changes in such a vast and complex system that includes more than 300 000 computers worldwide, is extremely difficult.
