Cypress TrueTouch - capacitive display with support for high-precision stylus

Company Cypress announced the formation of a capacitive touch screen that supports input using the stylus. Capacitive screen titled TrueTouch recognizes touch stylus with an accuracy of 1 mm. The company even posted on its website relevant video demo, demonstration of technology was also at the Mobile World Congress 2010. It should be noted that usually work with stylus support resistive touch screens, but in recent years, due to the increasing popularity of finger control, all the more widespread it is capacitive touch screens.



Some capacitive screens, by the way, support the stylus, but the accuracy is less than - 3.4 mm, that is, you can only get on big thumbnail pictures. New Cypress TrueTouch fill this gap, and with them, if necessary, can be used not only fingers, but the stylus. Moreover, these displays are secure and protected from scratches. Cypress TrueTouch volume shipments scheduled for the second quarter of this year.
