HP EliteBook 8440 p, 8540 p / w, HP ProBook 6440b and HP ProBook 6540b: laptops for business users and corporate customers

HP has introduced in Russia a new line of powerful notebook HP EliteBook 8440 p and 8540 p / w, which satisfy the requirements of business users in the reliability and performance. Notebooks HP EliteBook 8440 p and 8540 p / w are based on new mobile technologies that have passed rigorous testing for compliance with military standards MIL-STD 810G to work in conditions of extreme temperatures, severe vibration, high dust and humidity. Except for the power adapter and wireless modules WWAN, laptops do not contain bromine-containing flame retardants and polyvinyl chloride.



Mobile Workstation HP EliteBook 8540w is made in anodized aluminum colors weapons of steel and equipped with the chassis, all crafted from magnesium alloy. This provides durability, guaranteeing the protection of laptop and trouble-free operation in harsh operating conditions. Models HP EliteBook 8440p and HP EliteBook 8540p are made in anodized aluminum color of platinum and magnesium alloy chassis. Depending on the model, HP EliteBook notebooks can be supplied in various configurations, including support for UMA graphics or a graphics adapter NVIDIA, based on the Intel Core i7, the new Intel Core processor or Core vPro, with screen resolution of HD or HD Plus.



However, the company announced two new model series HP ProBook b-series. Notebooks HP ProBook 6440b and HP ProBook 6540b focus on corporate customers who need an affordable solution that combines innovative features and functionality needed for business users. New Notebooks HP ProBook b-series, built on the basis of the new Intel Core processors and are available with wide screen HD LED-backlit display with a diagonal of 14 and 15.6 inches, are the solution for users who need high capacity, reliability and performance.

New Notebooks HP EliteBook series, and HP ProBook equipped with the software:
HP QuickWeb, through which users can access the Internet in just a few seconds after turning on the notebook;
HP QuickLook3, providing access to email, calendar and address book without having to load the operating system;
HP Power Assistant, helping to monitor and manage energy-saving settings, power the notebook and its components.

In addition, the new series notebooks HP EliteBooks will be delivered in a configuration with an optional battery HP Long Life Battery, its lifetime is three years - twice as high compared with most lithium-ion batteries for laptops. This new technology allows to reduce the number of batteries to be recycling throughout the life of a laptop. Notebooks HP EliteBooks and HP ProBook b-series will go on sale in Russia in April 2010.
