Microsoft starts the countdown to Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 2000

As promised at the end of last year, Microsoft is beginning to inform users of the Windows operating system of an impending termination of support for previously released versions of this software platform. In an information report distributed by the Redmond company, users' attention is drawn to certain versions of Windows XP and Windows Vista on the approximation of the time when support for these software platforms will be phased out.



For example, support for Windows Vista RTM will be completed by April 13, 2010, and for all versions of Windows 2000 operating system, Windows XP SP2 similar to "X Day" will occur on July 13 this year. At the same time users of these software platforms is recommended to upgrade to the latest version by downloading the appropriate service pack (Service Pack), and even better - buy a copy of Windows 7.
