New Canon camera with video recording may be presented Feb. 8

According to the resource Pocket-lint, well-known manufacturer of photo products, Canon will soon submit one or two new SLR camera with video recording. Japanese company has announced some event in the London office of the British Academy of Film and Television (British Academy of Film and Television Arts, BAFTA), to be held in next Monday, Feb. 8.



Name of the event sounds like "Canon at the movies", and the time of its holding of approximately coincides with the set of announcements from other manufacturers of photo equipment, such as Nikon, Olympus, Pentax and Fujifilm. In addition, this event is well correlated with the rumors circulating recently that Canon is preparing the announcement of the new SLR Rebel T2i and / or models of Canon 60D.

As the camera Rebel T2i, then, by some estimates it could get a new LCD screen, choose the number of frames per second while shooting video as well as new quality and shape of the shell (for the line of Rebel). At the same time, the model Canon 60D, Information DPreview, can be equipped with 18-megapixel sensor, DIGIC IV processor and the ability to record high-definition video modes 24p/30p.
