No naked military: Safety Mode option will protect YouTube users from questionable content

Thursday, February 11, 2010

It is known that the world's largest broadcasts YouTube contains a great many variety of videos sent in by users. However, some of the submitted videos on this service have to put it mildly, questionable content, capable of causing irritation or even a shock to some viewers. For example, scenes of violence and hostilities, as well as videos of a sexual nature may adversely affect a child's psyche.

Knowing this, the management service YouTube has submitted a special option called Safety Mode (Safe Mode), which allows users to better control the video content offered to viewing. While this mode does not provide absolute protection from offensive material and comments retained on the site YouTube, it is another step in providing users with greater control over what they see.

To activate the option Safety Mode, simply click on the link at the bottom of any page video sources. This choice made can be saved to your browser with a password access to YouTube, provided to each registered user. So, now you can enjoy viewing videos on YouTube with less apprehension to see something, dissenting with your moral and ethical principles.
