Qualcomm: Nokia is working on a smartphone with Snapdragon chipset and Symbian OS

The head of Qualcomm's Paul Jacobs (Paul Jacobs) gave an interview to the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. It provides, inter alia, has an interesting reference to the future of smartphone from Nokia. According to Jacobs, it is now working on his first model based on the hardware platform Qualcomm Snapdragon. The device is based on the operating system Symbian, it is likely that this may be version Symbian ^ 3, although significantly to this effect is unknown.

Jacobs did not disclose details about a novelty from Nokia, but if it uses a chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon, then those characteristics must be the processor with 1 GHz (or higher), as well as modules Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and GSM / GPRS and UMTS / HSPA.
