Company TUL Corporation, which owns the brand PowerColor, has expanded its range of video cards with six new models based on 40 nm chip Redwood technology to support DirectX 11. Thus, four new graphics cards are based on the adapter Radeon HD 5570, and based on the remaining two lie accelerator Radeon HD 5550.

Models based on the Radeon HD 5570 performed as a low-profile design and a full-size printed circuit board, and their equipment includes 400 stream processors, 512 MB or 1 GB of GDDR3 memory and 128-bit interface and software support for the regime CrossFireX. The interface system of adapters includes ports D-Sub, DVI and HDMI (one model is equipped with video outputs D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort), and their clock speeds are 650 and 1600 MHz for the GPU and memory.

At the same time a video card based on Radeon HD 5550 have 320 stream processors, 512 MB and 1 GB DDR2 memory with 128-bit interface and the same system interface (D-Sub, DVI and HDMI), as older models. The frequency characteristics of these accelerators are equal to 550 and 800 MHz for the GPU and memory respectively. New graphics cards from PowerColor has already gone on sale and their prices do not exceed $ 80.
