Friday, February 12, 2010

Hewlett-Packard has introduced the Spanish model Compaq Airlife 100. This device made in the form factor netbook, has a 10.1-inch touch screen and integrated 3G module communication. However, this gadget is classified smartbook, since it uses the processor, "borrowed" from smartphones - Qualcomm Snapdragon to 1 GHz. From them, the same was taken and the operating system - Google Android, version of an assembly which has not yet specified.

The model has a full QWERTY-keyboard, but I can also use a touch screen that supports multitouch. Also 3G module device has Wi-Fi and GPS-receiver (navigation software NDrive). To store the information you can use the 16 GB SSD drive and memory card SD-format. Also, HP Compaq Airlife 100 has a 0.3-megapixel Web camera with a pre-program Instant On, which allows to accelerate its integration. Autonomy time ranging from 12 hours to 10 days - depending on the intensity of use.

Apparently, the model will be showcased at MWC 2010. In Spain, sales smartbook HP Compaq Airlife 100 arrive in the spring operator Telefonica, but its value has not called
