Motherboard ASUS P7F7-E WS SuperComputer presented formally

Taiwanese company ASUSTeK Computer, known for its developments in the field of computer components, officially announced the launch of a new motherboard ASUS P7F7-E WS SuperComputer. As the name implies, the new product is able to make the foundation for a powerful desktop system or workstation.



Motherboard ASUS P7F7-E WS SuperComputer is based on the chipset Ibex Peak 3450, supplemented by chip NVIDIA NF200, and supports interoperability with Intel Xeon processors 3400 and the line of Core chips in performance LGA 1156. The board received 16 3 phase power supply system, six slots for DDR3 memory modules 2000, and two SATA 6.0 Gbps ports and six - SATA 3.0 Gbps.

In addition, there are four expansion slots PCI-Express x16 with support for regimes SLI (two-and three-way), and CrossFireX. Functionality ASUS P7F7-E WS SuperComputer complementary dual slot Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0 ports plus a pair of USB 2.0 interfaces directly to the motherboard, two FireWire ports and a video output DVI. Dimensions of new items are 305 x 245 mm, which corresponds to the parameters of the form factor ATX. On the cost of the motherboard ASUS P7F7-E WS SuperComputer not reported.
