Netbook Onkyo MX1007A4: 14,4 hours of work, but "slow" processor

Wednesday, April 7, 2010

The Japanese company Onkyo introduced the model netbook MX1007A4 possessing 10.1-inch screen and is capable to work in offline mode up to 14,4 hours. However, to achieve the latter figure the company's engineers sacrificed performance system: netbook is based on Intel Atom Z515 processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz and has 1 GB of RAM. Nevertheless, one must assume that 14 hours of battery life, claimed in a press release, are somewhat exaggerated and the actual use of netbook this figure will be somewhat lower.

Other specifications include a netbook Onkyo MX1007A4 250 GB hard drive, modules WiFi b / g and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a total weight of the device 1,16 kg. Also in the presence of a webcam, fingerprint scanner, card reader and two standard USB-connector audio I / O port and Ethernet. However, the call model is quite modern not work: the use of the processor Intel Atom Z-series makes the whole system is not too fast, because the multitasking support in the data processor is made at a relatively low level.

The cost model is not called. Release netbook Onkyo MX1007A4 the Japanese market is scheduled for April 10.

It is very safe and convenient device for security instead of password that is vulnerable to fraud and is hard to remember.
