MSI Unveils GeForce GTS 450 version with the cooler Cyclone

As expected, after the official debut of GeForce GTS 450 NVIDIA partner companies began to announce their own versions of this interesting video. One of the first in this series was the Taiwanese manufacturer Micro-Star International (MSI), presented to the consumer two options GeForce GTS 450, equipped with highly efficient cooling system, Cyclone.


The structure of this cooler is a copper base with nickel-plated, steam teplootvodnyh tubes and 90 mm fan with PWM function, surrounded by two "fan" of radiator fins. This decision was allegedly able to keep the GPU temperature at 17 degrees Celsius lower than the reference cooling system.

The basis of MSI N450GTS Cyclone is 40 nm chip GF106, comprising 192 core CUDA. In addition, the characteristics of the card includes 1 GB of GDDR5 memory with 128-bit interface, Dual DVI ports and Mini HDMI and a standard set of technologies supported by DirectX 11, CUDA, PhysX, and 3D Vision. Note that one of the versions of the adapter (N450GTS Cyclone 1GD5) operates on the reference frequencies of 783 and 3608 MHz for the GPU and memory, and the version N450GTS Cyclone 1GD5/OC equipped with factory overclocking, and has frequencies of 850 and 4000 MHz respectively.
