Shuttle launches in Europe, a series of thin mini-PC with a fanless cooling XS35

Company Shuttle, known for its compact computer systems, announced the official release on the European market a new series of mini-PCs called XS35. This series includes 11 modifications, including two barebone system with no memory, optical drive and operating system, as well as nine fully ready to use computers.


Note that the model XS35 series are the most compact mini-PCs, ever announced Shuttle, and their dimensions are only 252 x 385 x 162 mm. At the heart of new products is energy-efficient dual-processor Intel Atom D510 with a frequency of 1.66 GHz, supplemented in some modifications of the platform NVIDIA Ion second generation, which naturally increases their ability to work with graphics.

This combination of components and other design features allow the mini-PC series Shuttle XS35 do without active cooling with fans, which guarantees them virtually silent operation, even under load. In addition, each of the presented innovations has five ports USB 2.0, WLAN controllers, and LAN, and audio chip card reader, and to place the optical drive many modifications it is possible to install an additional hard drive.

Among other things, in some models of Series Shuttle XS35 present port HDMI, which shows their support for high-definition video. The operating system can be a Windows 7 (in different versions) or Linux. Add that the Shuttle Barebone XS35 and Barebone XS35GT will cost customers in the 179 and 238 euros, and the cost of full-fledged computer systems series XS35 preloaded with Windows 7 starts with a mark of 399 euros.
