Sony Ericsson A8i - Android smartphone with support for TD-SCDMA

Sony Ericsson has announced the release svokego first smartphone for mobile networks TD-SCDMA. This standard is used in the Chinese market operator China Mobile. The new model called Sony Ericsson A8i released in China in the next quarter. It works on the basis of a software platform Open Mobile System (OMS) 2.0, which, in turn, is built on Android. Sony Ericsson A8i equipped with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash.


In addition, the new Sony Ericsson for the Chinese market to support wireless standards Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with stereoprofilem A2DP, as well as the local version of mobile TV CMMB (China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting). Also Sony Ericsson A8i slot for microSD memory card and 3.5 mm audio jack. Finally, the model supports services operator. Both companies, like Sony Ericsson, and China Mobile, expressed hope to strengthen cooperation and conclusion in the Chinese market in the future new, promising products.
