Toshiba announces world's fastest SDHC cards

Toshiba has introduced its new SDHC memory card format with marking Ultra High Speed I (UHS-I), which supports high speed read and write - 95 Mbps and 80 Mbps (although they may vary). Thus, it is the fastest in the world at the moment map SDHC. They are presented in three variants of: 8 (THNSU008GAA21J), 1916 (THNSU016GAA21K) and 32 GB (THNSU032GAA21L) and compliant with SD 3.0 USH104. Toshiba plans to begin mass production of such memory cards in November.


But besides cards SDHC, Toshiba is preparing another format and solutions microSDHC, relevant specifications SD 3.0 UHS 50. This means that they can read data at speeds of 40 Mb / s and write speeds of 20 MB / sec. Thus, the data microSDHC card from Toshiba will be the most productive in the world of this standard. But they come on sale later - in December - and will be presented in volume 4, 8 and 16 GB. In this case, the supply of samples will start in a month earlier - in November, the price has not yet announced.
