Recently on our site has the information about the communicator, designed for the deaf and blind people from HumanWare. He proposed the concept tachfona for the blind. The device has a touch screen, capable of reproducing Braille characters table. It can function like a normal phone, navigation system and reads the text of the device, and play voice commands, and to assist in the recognition of objects.
Currently it is only a draft, but most of the functions easily implemented, and thus, in the near future, such devices could become a reality.
