Mobile version of Google Latitude for iPhone

Google has introduced a new mobile version of its service Latitude (Locator). It's available for iPhone and iPod touch through the web browser Safari. "Desktop" version of the service Google Latitude appeared earlier this year. It allows the user to obtain information on the whereabouts of his friends. Google Latitude complementary service Google Maps: the coordinates of the users indicated on the map, you can also read their status message.



Get access to Google Latitude with the iPhone or iPod touch, you can link to google.com / latitude in your browser. You can also add a bookmark on the start screen for quick access to the service. Google Latitude only supported operating systems, iPhone / iPod Touch OS 3.0 and above. At the moment, service is available for the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand in the near future, developers plan to expand the geography.
