North American mobile operator Sprint today officially announced a new model of mobile phone Samsung Reclaim, which, in his words, is the most functional "green" phone, at a cost of less than $ 50.
This model, as it states the manufacturer and operator, is at 80% of the fully processed material, such as:
- 40% of the phone shells consist of bioplastika manufactured from conventional maize
- phone package is for 70% of secondary and Coloring materials used in printing, constructed on the basis of soybean
- lack of a paper user manual, replaced by an electronic version, which can be downloaded from the site operator
- charger corresponds to the standard Energy Star, approved by the U.S. Agency for Environment Protection (US Environmental Protection Agency) and the Ministry of Energy (US Department of Energy).
From the technical specifications of Samsung Reclaim, which will go on sale from 16 August, stated the following:

- built-in support for GPS navigation
- 2 MP camera with video recording support
