Sony introduced the first in the world of compact digital cameras

Company Sony today announced two new models of compact digital cameras amateur series Cyber-shot: DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1, for the first time in the world, for this class of cameras, inside CMOS (CMOS) sensor "Exmor R", illuminated by the substrate. According to the manufacturer, the sensors with a similar technology has almost twice the superiority of photosensitivity in comparison with traditional sensors.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1:

In combination with new sensor technologies and those used in the DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1, as protection against blur of images and the mode hand-held shooting at dusk, allowing them to make high-quality images even in low-light conditions without the use of flash and tripod .

We presented new products available and function resulting from the more professional models, such as the DSC-HX1, as Sony Sweep Panorama (creates horizontal and vertical panoramic images with one click) and high-speed serial imagery, allowing the images in the series with a speed of 10 frames per second, thanks to built-in image processing BIONZ. They also allows HD video (720r/30fps).

Key features of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1:

  • Matrix Exmor R (CMOS) with an effective resolution of 10.2 MP and BIONZ image processor provides high-speed imaging with low noise even at low illumination
