The company introduced a new two-plate Thecus NAS-storage - N2200. As the producer, Thecus N2200 is a good solution for home and can store an impressive collection of photos, video and other media content. It can not be new and in a small office, where will organize a hassle-free backup or a small file storage.

Thanks to two 3.5-inch SATA-drives, N2200 can provide up to 4 terabytes of storage capacity (up to 2 terabytes in a mode RAID1). Flexibility models will add the combined trays for hard drives, allowing to also use 2.5-inch SATA-drives. For reliable data protection in the model proposed organization N2200 RAID-array level 1. Also available RAID0 and JBOD. Features hot-swappable and auto-recovery discs allow you to quickly replace hard drives in case of failure.

Setup and Administration N2200 simplified. The initial setting is carried out with the utility Thecus Smart, one press of a button, in addition, this utility takes care of backing up files. Monitoring of the system is simple thanks to LCD display, showing information on the disk, connection to the LAN, as well as the status of the USB copy.

N2200 - not only networked storage system. In N2200 built an updated download manager that supports, in addition to HTTP-and FTP-problems downloading files using BitTorrent clients and eMule. New function of the N2200 is the support of two types of cells, allowing connection of both IP and USB Web camera to create a small video server. N2200 supports the work as a server for iTunes, a web server for photos and can transmit audio and video streaming protocol UPnP. Approximate retail value of the device without the disc is 7850 rubles. Thecus N2200 Home sales in Russia is expected in October.
