Pretec i-Disk Tango 266X – World's Fastest USB Flash Drive

Taiwanese company Pretec announced a new flash drive i-Disk Tango 266X. According to the manufacturer, this model is the fastest flash drives in the world. Indeed, the characteristics of the device are impressive - the speed of reading and writing information from him at 40 and 30 Mb / s, respectively, which is 30-100 percent higher than the average existing analogs. We note in passing that the theoretical maximum data transfer rate of USB 2.0 interface is 60 Mbps, but it is unlikely that the threshold will ever be achieved.



Pretec i-Disk Tango 266X presented in different versions with capacities from 8 to 128 GB and is one of the most capacious flash drives from those present on the market. It uses NAND memory with multilevel cell (MLC), which makes the drive more affordable compared to devices based on SLC NAND memory. In addition, the drive is built ON Magic Chamber, which allows to protect stored data from unauthorized copying.
