Wednesday, October 7, 2009

Company TUL Corporation, which owns the trademark PowerColor, announced a partnership with the firm EK Water Blocks, known as a developer and manufacturer of high-quality liquid cooling systems. The result of this cooperation should be the emergence of a new version of the recently announced the ATI Radeon HD 5870, equipped with water cooling.

The new graphics card will be called Radeon HD 5870 LCS (Liquid Cooling Solution) and receive a brand water block EK, shown in the picture. Although the developers have not yet reveal details about the frequency and other characteristics, we can assume that the accelerator will be the version with a factory overclocked targeted at gamers and PC enthusiasts.

EK water block for Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards will be available for purchase on October 9. It is logical to assume that the adapter and the PowerColor HD 5870 LCS has to go on sale in the near future.
