Dell Mini 3iX: Android-smartphone with 3G support and Wi-Fi

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

Apparently, a slightly modified version of the smartphone Dell Mini 3i will soon be available outside China. Brazilian resource Celular Cafe published photographs and some information about the characteristics of the model Dell Mini 3iX, which has been certified in this country. Dell Mini 3iX - is the same as a smartphone, that for the Chinese market, but it supports Wi-Fi and UMTS / HSDPA, and of course, a real Android, rather than the Chinese modification of the platform. Otherwise, the characteristics of the devices apparently identical: 3.5-inch touchscreen display, 3-megapixel camera with autofocus, GPS-receiver interface support Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and USB 2.0, microSD memory card and multi-touch.

Recall the rumors about the version Dell Mini 3i for the United States already appeared, moreover, they talked about 5-megapixel camera with this device. Perhaps this is the model of Mini 3iX. While nothing is known about when Dell Mini 3iX come on the market. Most likely, it will happen before the end of this year - in the season of sales, and not only in Brazil.
