Gamer-oriented motherboard ASUS Rampage III Extreme presented formally

Taiwan ASUSteK Computer company formally introduced its new motherboard Rampage III Extreme, which we have repeatedly reported the news. Novelty came in its original line of Republic of Gamers (ROG) and is aimed primarily at the community of gamers, overclockers and PC enthusiasts.



High quality motherboard ASUS Rampage III Extreme is made based on the chipset North and South bridge Intel X58/ICH10R and able to interact with Intel LGA 1366, including those with released last week, the flagship shestiyadernikom Core i7-980X.

In addition, there are four PCIe x16 expansion slot with support for regimes NVIDIA 3-way SLI and ATI CrossFireX, six slots DIMM modules with support for tri-channel DDR3 2200 memory up to 24 GB as well as two-port USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0 Gbps. Another interesting feature in ASUS Rampage III Extreme allows you to control acceleration using Bluetooth-compatible mobile phone. The new motherboard is in the form factor EATX (Extended ATX) and has dimensions of 305 x 269 mm, its value is not reported.
