Nikon UK has introduced a new model of the Coolpix S1100pj with improved integrated projector. It is a successor S1000pj, the world's first camera with built-in projector.

The projector has a luminous flux of 14 lumens, which is 40% brighter than its predecessor. Thus, it became possible projection in the new conditions, such as better-lit rooms or at a lighted surface. Cameras can also connect directly to a computer PC or Mac and display stored images or presentations directly via the projector. It supports VGA quality projection screen size from 26 to 240 cm (5 to 47 inches). The camera is equipped with a built-in desk on the projector.
Coolpix S1100pj got a matrix with a resolution of 14.1 megapixels, wide-angle 5-fold zoom NIKKOR (equivalent 35 mm format film-based: 28 - 140 mm), the largest touchscreen LCD display with a diagonal 7.5 cm (3 inches) and high resolution (460 thousand pixels). To ensure sharp images camera has five functions, which reduce blurring, and such friendly regimes, as a simple auto mode and the system of intellectual portrait will relieve the user from concern about the correct settings for shooting. Special recording button allows you to easily capture events in the form of high-definition video in 720p HD format at 30 frames per second.

Camera Coolpix S1100pj also represents a number of processing functions, including the effect of fish-eye, highlighting a monochrome image, and blur the background. Image editing can be performed without a computer. A revival of the slide show you can use built-in animations, background music or a means of transition between slides. Finally, the function of drawing allows you to add handwritten notes to the images even when projecting on the wall.

Model Coolpix S1100pj will be produced in black and green colors of the shell. Approximate price for the European region of 349 euros, goes on sale is scheduled for mid-September.
