The company introduced the single-slot XFX version of the ATI Radeon HD 5770. It is equipped with 1 GB of GDDR5 memory and bus PCI-E2.0. Clock Speed is 850 MHz, while the memory runs at 4.8 GHz. With such characteristics XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 is comparable with many cards, 5700 series with two slots, but according to the manufacturer's specification does not define the uniqueness of this card, and cooling system.

Most of the radiator, the size of the copper which is based on 41 x 28 mm, complemented by three large heatpipes, located under the radiator. As a result, the total surface area of heat pipes to 15% higher than those for the HD 5770 graphics card with two slots. Due to such design and open space through the use of one slot is created maximum air flow for cooling GPU. Comparison of characteristics of the devices of the family 5700 showed that the XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 with a single slot produces 23.5 dB less noise than the HD 5770 with two slots and the cooling system of full coverage, as well as 13.5 dB less than the HD 5770 with two slots and channel heat sink.

High speed fan with PWM control on the circuit board also helps to ensure improved cooling and reduced noise. All the maps used dust protection IP-5X. As a result, graphics card XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 with a single slot offers an opportunity to ensure reliability throughout the life cycle of cards, reducing the risk of rupture of capacitors, ensuring a longer working cards in general, as well as better faster accelerating productivity.
