Wednesday, September 22, 2010

The company Seagate Technology has set another record in the segment of hard disk drives, firing, allegedly, the first portable hard drive size 2.5-inch, whose capacity is 1.5 TB. Novelty came in its original series FreeAgent GoFlex, and the volume of its disk space is enough to store up to 60 films in high definition, video or hundreds of thousands of photos, documents and other content.

The new high-capacity external HDD has dimensions of 120 x 89 x 22 mm, and to connect to the computer it implements high-speed USB 3.0 (through him and made the unit's power). Portable hard drive is made in black and equipped with a two-year warranty, and placed it on a software tool Seagate Dashboard allows you to easily manage schedule backups, to encrypt files and view statistics. We add that an external hard drive FreeAgent GoFlex to 1,5 TB is compatible with Windows and Mac, and is already sold in the U.S., where costs $ 250.
