Cowon iAudio 9: broad codec support and TV out

Friday, October 2, 2009

Company Cowon placed on the main page of its Internet resource image of the latest model of portable media player Cowon iAudio 9, which probably can be regarded as its official announcement. The model is equipped with a 2-inch display with QVGA-resolution and the ability to record voice. While the design of this device is absolutely nothing special, the company Cowon has traditionally staked on a set of codecs that comes with the player.

This model supports playback of MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, FLAC and APE audio formats, AVI, WMV, Xvid, and ASF video, view graphics and text files, and Flash Player to play the animation. To improve the quality of play has JetEffect 3.0 BBE +. In addition, Cowon iAudio 9 were TV Out and FM-tuner with the ability to record broadcasts. Dimensions are 42 x 95 x 8.9 mm.

Unfortunately, so far, except the data presented above, there is no information on the timing of its release, price positioning and memory capacity.
