A-Data released solid-state drive SSD S596

Taiwanese company A-DATA Technology has announced the release of solid-state drive SSD S596 form factor 2.5-inch meters with interface SATAII. This device, with the words producer, specifically designed for advanced computer users, working with "heavy" graphics, and using applications that support "multitasking". According to the company, its novelty can accelerate a variety of applications in five times.

Speed sequential read and write the new S596 drive reaches 250 MB / s and 180 Mb / s, respectively. Drive S596 uses flash technology, a new generation and cache DDR2 SDRAM, which provides system load on Windows 7 for 20 seconds. It is estimated A-Data, a 40% faster than on platforms where there are regular drives SSD.

The following new capacity solid state drives S596: 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. They fully support the Windows 7 and Mac Snow Leopard. Connector miniUSB, provided with the S596, allows the use of SSD as an additional external hard drive.
