Nokia N900 is already on sale in Russia

Nov. 24 at the Nokia N900 platform open-source Maemo 5 will go on sale in Russia. You can purchase the device in the Nokia brand shops and stores Svyaznoy-3, M-Video, and IES. Approximate price - 28 900 rubles.



The basis for Nokia N900 is the ARM-Cortex-A8 processor and memory to run applications full 1 GB. The device has a multi-tasking capabilities, allowing you to run more than a dozen applications simultaneously. In photographs and videos taken with the 5-megapixel camera with optics from Carl Zeiss, automatically adds location information, users can add their own tags. SMS-text messages and instant messages are structured in the form of chat sessions. Internal memory capacity of 32 GB is enough to store up to 7000 songs or 40 hours of video in DVD-quality. Potentially, memory expandable to 48 GB with the help of external memory cards microSD.

As the company Nokia, it works closely with the developer community and has recently announced important decisions related to Maemo. As a result, users of Nokia N900 will have access games, utilities, themes, wallpapers and services to post photos and instant messaging - all these can be found in stores and through the Ovi service Maemo Select, runs closer to the end of the year. In October, Nokia announced the official support of Maemo 5 Qt. This means that developers who use software Qt, will be able to create applications for the Nokia N900 and will be able to effortlessly move these applications on all platforms supported by Qt, including the next version of the Maemo platform 6 and Symbian.

Fabulous! I love Nokia phones they are easy and very comfortable to use. How much is N900 in Russia? N900 isn't released yet here in the states, I just hope that my dad will get me one for my birthday.
