Friday, September 25, 2009

It seems that those experts who predicted a good future of the new gaming console PS3 Slim, were not mistaken in their forecasts. Corporation Sony Computer Entertainment announced that global retail sales of the console had reached the landmark milestone of one million pieces. Such impressive results achieved in just three weeks from the date of the official release attachment, which, we recall, took place on September 1.

These results were the result of external and internal improvements implemented in the Sony PS3 Slim. For example, the thickness of the console fell by one third the weight - of 36 per cent, making the device has become more elegant and attractive appearance. In addition, Sony PS3 Slim uses smaller Cell processor and RSX, and retains many useful features, including an optical drive Blu-ray, two USB-ports and an integrated module Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g. At the same time its power consumption is reduced to 250 watts. Note that the capacity of the hard drive in the new console is 120 GB (previous models, the figure was 80 and 160 GB).

In addition, one of the key factors contributing to the popularity of thin version of the Sony PlayStation 3, was "the price issue." Price game console Sony PS3 Slim down to a mark in the 299 dollarov/299 euro, which, naturally, spurred its sale. This was made possible by reducing the cost of production costs. Not least in the popularity of the new game console, and played a steadily increasing number of interesting video game, "imprisoned" for the PlayStation 3 as well as improvement of service PlayStation Network, designed to download multimedia content and an online multiplayer games.

A little off topic, Guys... I have a question. Last week I found this site:
Rivalspot.com - Play Ps3 tournaments for cash
They say you can play online Madden game tournaments on any console for cash... had anyone tried that before? Looks like a cool idea...
Are there any other sites where you can play sports games for real moneys? I Googled and found only Bringit.com and Worldgaming.com but it looks these guys don't specialize in sport gamez. Any suggestions?
