Apacer Technology Company introduced a new media player AL460. Movies, pictures and music using the AL460 can be played directly from the network (Ethernet 10/100). I was excited to buy this product but Im dissapointed.
Videos files encoded in a high bit-rate are impossible to rewind. When you press the REW button, it returns at the biginning of the file.
When you press fast-forward button and then press the play button, the image is blocked.
If you want to see the next file, you have to press the netx button twice.
New firmware for AL460
1. Changer User Interface: AL460 will provide the new User Interface for ease of use.
2. Improving mkv format compatibility: AL460 could support more mkv format .
3. Supporting Net Storage Function: AL460 could support net storage function.
4. Supports to switch L/R audio channel.
5. Supporting BT download function: AL460 could support BT download function, but 1 Torrent file can be added at one time.
