Microsoft will present at CES Tablet PC manufactured of HP

According to the New York Times citing people familiar with, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will present the Tablet PC to show Consumer Electronics Show, which starts tomorrow in Las Vegas. The device is manufactured by Hewlett-Packard (HP) and, apparently, will go on sale in mid-year. Quite possibly, it is a model of Courier, the first information about it appeared some time ago. However, judging from publish pictures, Courier - this is not usual for the class Tablet PC device with a screen, and folding, with two displays. A novelty to be provided by Steve Ballmer, as described by the source, is still a normal tablet.



From the Tablet PC features Microsoft source mentions multi-touch, multimedia features and support for electronic books. Microsoft and HP does not comment on these rumors, still wait for tomorrow's presentation.
